Choose between a normally on or normally off plunger. For normally on switches, the light will turn on when the connected door is open, and off when closed. For normally off switches, the light will turn off when the connected door is open, and on when closed.
The paddle switch comes with a 10-foot power cord and a 30-inch female non-typical “T”-blade connector. This paddle switch is rated at a 300-watt capacity. The wattage on the bulb (in the fixture) will determine the number of fixtures that can be connected to the switch (our recommendation is not to use more than six fixtures). The switch is normally surfaced mounted and secured with two screws.
